Ethics are one of the cornerstones of our profession. Their existence and our accountability under them help increase trust in the profession. The Code of Ethics has had a number of changes in the last few years. This webinar series will a review the existing rules, including these changes. It will overview the rules and review the main features of the ethics requirements.
The webinar series will provide the 4 hours of training required by NZICA/CAANZ.
The webinars will not cover anything to do with ethics for assurance and audit engagements.
Specifically, it will cover:
- Ethics in General & Fundamental Principles
- Conceptual Framework
- Rules for members in business
- Rules for members in Public Practice
- NOCLAR
Throughout the webinar series there will be a number of examples used to illustrate the points being made.
Upon completion of the webinar you will be able to:
- Explain the main features of the Ethics requirements of NZICA/CAANZ
- Meet the 4 hours of training required by NZICA/CAANZ every 5 years
- Consider the impact of the ethics requirements on your work situation
